Joystick is similar as tiller control, but with better ( ergonomic ) position and logical steering - just point it in direction where you wish to go. Steering wheel require console which take to much space inside small boat. However, we do have steering wheel option with "drive by wire" control.

For to me unknown reason, most jet tenders have separate throttle lever, while all jet-skis have finger throttle. Separate throttle lever is simply wrong, because jet drive do not have rudder. Playing with throttle is important for steering and maneuverability.
